About the Northside Children's Community Library
The Northside Children’s Community Library is open during the school year on Tuesdays and Thursdays 4-6 pm and Saturdays 1-4 pm. In the summer, the hours are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 1-4 pm. All area children are invited to stop by to read, check out books, or study. In addition to thousands of children's books, iPads and computers with internet access are available for the children to use for research, homework, or educational games and activities. The library is staffed by Coordinator, Barbara Kienzler, Assistant Coordinator, Faith Dennison, and volunteers.
The mission of the Northside Children's Community Library (NCCL) is to provide free access to books and technology, innovative programming, and tutoring services to meet the educational and cultural needs of all Springfield area children.
